Manufactured by Wilderness Solutions, the world's leading FIRE PISTON source. Our fire pistons are crafted by hand of the finest quality coco bolo wood and water buffalo horn.

This fire piston is a recreation of an original shown in a Smithsonian photo. The original was collected about 1900 by General Jacob Kline, US Army during the Philippine-American War. Hand carved from coco bolo, this design brings out the amazing grain patterns of the wood.
