Campstoreonline.com Policies
We provide
secure, safe online shopping 24 hours 7 days a week. Orders are
accepted from residents of the U.S. only, as some of our vendors are unable to make international deliveries. We provide a secure shopping environment.
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal. Credit card verification and authorization is handled by First Data Linkpoint . Your account
will be charged at the time your order is placed. The customer will be
notified if an item will be delayed or has become unavailable. Fire
Pistons are custom crafted items, made to order, and are usually
shipped in 3-6 weeks. The vast majority of our merchandise is shipped
via UPS or FedEx Ground within THREE TO FIVE BUSINESS DAYS of ORDER
PLACEMENT. You will be notified when items are shipped from
different sources.
Privacy
Policy
Campstoreonline.com is owned
and operated by Nott Marketing Services of Dayville, Connecticut. We do
not store information about your ISP or credit card account when you
make a purchase from our secure server. Your name, address, telephone
number and email information are not rented, shared or sold with any
other party.
"Opt-in" Policy
Our
customers are encouraged to request more information about updates about
products sold on our site. By creating an account with
Campstoreonline.com, you will be able to make purchases faster, keep up
to date on orders you have placed with us, and check the status of your
pending order. Collecting your email address gives us a point of
contact. Campstoreonline.com does not utilize our customer list for the
purpose of emailing promotional material to our customers. We respect
your privacy and do not share or sell our database with any other
company or entity. Customers who have requested to be notified about
particular items on our site have "opted in" to be notified of updates
on particular products. Those who no longer wish to maintain a
relationship may request to "opt out" of our update list.
Damage Claims
Please inspect the packaging
prior to acceptance of your shipment. Merchandise damaged in shipment must
be reported to the freight carrier. Because Campstoreonline.com is committed to resolving any problems with
your order, it is imperative that reports of damaged merchandise
be reported immediately by email to
campstoreonline@care2.com with your order number in the subject
header. You may also follow up with a phone call before 8 PM
Eastern time to 860-774-4467 and leave a message.Please do NOT ship back unauthorized
returns. All damaged, missing, or mistakenly shipped products must be
reported with 24 hours of package delivery. For most merchandise, items
are warranted by the manufacturer for a minimum of 1 year. Fire
Piston products are warranteed by the manufacturer for years.
Specific instructions will be given within 1-3 business days.
Unauthorized returns may be automatically rejected the customer will be
responsible for return shipping costs. Please note that payment refunds
occur only when similar merchandise is not available for replacement.
Return Policy
Returned items may be subjected to a 25%
restocking fee, which shall be determined upon assessment of each claim.
Packages refused at the customer's doorstep upon delivery may incur
additional charges, depending on the vendor, and
absolutely no refund or credit
will be issued on freight charges. Buyer is responsible for all shipping
costs. Any refused shipments do not necessarily constitute the right to
any refund credit. Claims associated with damaged
package/product in transit will result in a call tag merchandise pickup
through our shipping carrier (i.e. UPS, Fedex, etc).
Pictures for
defective parts must also be received within 5 days of receipt of
merchandise. Failure to do so may forfeit your privilege to
return/exchange the products. Please understand that our store must
enforce the rules imposed upon us by our vendors.
Campstoreonline.com may waive
restocking fee for returns or exchanges made within 5 days of receipt and in
original packaging. Products altered in any way may not be returned or exchanged. All products that are approved for return after
5 days are for order credit only and may incur a 25% cancellation/restocking
fee. Shipping costs of returns are the responsibility of the customer unless we
filled your order incorrectly. All products returned must be in the same condition as it was originally
delivered by the seller to buyer. Special or custom-made orders are not
refundable.
Merchandise
signed for is assumed delivered and no shortage claims will be considered unless
noted on delivery ticket at time of delivery. Damaged-shipped merchandise must
be claimed with the freight carrier. Original receipt must be presented for
credit or exchange. Return claims filed with Campstoreonline.com after
24 hours of original delivery date may be rejected, and by definition
are a manufacturer warranty issue. The customer will be fully responsible for
return shipping costs, regardless of whether merchandise is found to be
defective. Abusive wear and tear of products may not necessarily qualify
a returned product for warranty coverage. If merchandise is found to be
defective, Campstoreonline.com will be responsible for replacement
product shipping costs.
We
will notify you via phone, mail, or e-mail of your refund once we have
received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the
same form of payment originally used for purchase within 14 to 21
business days of our receiving your return. Please note that we can
refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error. |
